Picture the typical office working environment. There’s a desk, chair, computer, smartphone and typically a worker slumped in and over them. Poor posture isn’t only confined to the office desk however it’s also slumping around when we are driving, sitting on the couch at home, eating, standing and walking. The technology we use daily and the increased time we spend sitting, usually with poor posture, are mainly to blame. But it is okay, you can help reverse your poor posture with a few simple exercises and stretches (detailed below).
